it's all who you know

already, my local connections are starting to pay off..

Donovan (art director for Progressive Farmer, over at Southern Progress) called me today with an offer to do a logo for Dean Franklin over at Samford. Who's that? oh, just the Vice President and Dean of Students.. no biggie :)

I'm meeting him tomorrow at 10:30 to discuss. I might have to do a little bit of work on my laptop next week, but I have a feeling it'll pay off. If being photo editor doesn't pay well, the connections I make from it sure will.

Psst - make sure they pay you up front. I hear there's a "Janet" scam going on that's about as legit as email from a "Nigerian businessman"...
